Granite & Quartz Countertops, Cut by the Installer
Template to install by one in-house team — which is why our seams disappear and our timelines hold.
Slab countertops without the middleman
Hometown Stone templates, fabricates, and installs granite, quartz, quartzite, and marble countertops for kitchens, baths, islands, bars, and commercial spaces across the Central Valley. Because fabrication is in-house, the person who measures your kitchen is accountable to the person who cuts the slab — and both answer to the installer. That pipeline is why seams land where we say they will.

Granite, quartz, or quartzite?
Granite — natural, one-of-a-kind patterns, excellent heat tolerance, periodic sealing. Quartz — engineered consistency, zero sealing, huge color range; the most popular choice in our market. Quartzite — natural stone with marble looks and granite toughness, at a premium. Marble — unmatched character that rewards owners who accept patina. We stock samples of all four and will tell you straight what fits your kitchen habits.

Edges, sinks, and details
Eased, beveled, bullnose, ogee, mitered waterfall — edge profiles cut to your spec. Undermount sink cutouts polished, cooktop cutouts reinforced, full-height backsplashes matched from the same material. Old counters removed and disposed; plumbing reconnect coordinated so you're without a sink for hours, not days.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long from template to installed counters?
Typically 1–2 weeks. Templating takes a morning; fabrication about a week depending on the queue; installation is usually a single day.
Do quartz countertops need sealing?
No — quartz is non-porous. Granite, quartzite, and marble are natural stone and benefit from periodic sealing (we'll show you how; it takes minutes).
Can you replace counters without damaging cabinets?
Yes — careful removal is part of every job. We protect cabinetry and verify boxes are level and ready before new stone goes down.
Do you do commercial countertops?
Yes — reception desks, break rooms, restaurant counters, and retail surfaces, in the commercial-grade materials those settings demand.
