Floors That Take Real Life and Still Look Custom

Wood-look plank, large-format porcelain, and natural stone — installed flat, tight, and square by our own setters.

Tile and stone flooring done properly

Flooring is where substrate prep matters most — and where cut-rate installs fail first. Hometown Stone installs porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone floors over correctly flattened, decoupled substrates so your grout lines stay tight and your large-format tile stays flat. Kitchens, baths, entries, great rooms, patios, and commercial floors that take cart traffic without complaint.

Popular floor choices

  • Wood-look plank tile — hardwood warmth, tile durability; the Valley favorite.
  • Large-format porcelain — fewer grout lines, modern look, demanding install (good thing that's our specialty).
  • Natural stone — travertine, slate, limestone, marble for spaces with character.
  • Mosaic & pattern floors — bathroom floors and statement entries.
  • Radiant heat — electric underfloor warmth beneath any of the above.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you install tile over my existing floor?

Sometimes — it depends on the existing material, height transitions, and condition. We assess at the walkthrough and tell you straight whether overlay or tear-out is the right call.

How long does a tile floor installation take?

A typical room runs 2–4 days including prep and grout; whole-home floors are phased so you can live around the work.

Is tile flooring cold?

It runs cooler than carpet — which the Valley appreciates most of the year. For bathrooms, electric radiant heat under the tile solves winter mornings entirely.
